Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Process Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:
• The Contractor shall be able to perform work related to the development, configuration, and optimization of commercial/manufacturing processes from inception through start up and certification. Work will also include the following:
o Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.
o Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
o Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, and modifying manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
o Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
o Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data.
o Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
o Perform process simulations.
o Manage cost and time constraints.
o Perform risk assessments.
o Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Personnel supporting this requirement must have and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance
• Level II - BA/BS, 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 3 years must be in the DoD, or 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
